Passover did not occur in March because there was no ripened barley in time for Passover. Today in Israel the New Moon (Rosh Chodesh) was sighted in Israel. This means the day of Passover will be from sunset April 22 to sunset April 23. The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Chag Ha-Matzot) begins at sunset April 23 and ends at sunset April 24. The seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread will begin at sunset April 29 and end at sunset April 30. The first and seventh days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread are rest days. The day that the barley sheaf would be waved would be on Sunday, April 28. Pentecost (Chag Ha-Shavuot) will be from sunset June 15 to sunset June 16.
